
JACKSON HEIGHTS — Two men punched and robbed another man in front of a restaurant on Roosevelt Avenue in August, police said.
The suspects waited for the victim to walk by in front of 81-03 Roosevelt Ave. at around 11:40 p.m. on Aug. 16, surveillance video shows.
They punched him in the face, grabbing his cellphone and $80 before fleeing.
The victim was treated at Elmhurst Hospital for injuries to his face and elbows, and later released.
Surveillance video captured the two men. The first stands between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 and weighs between 210 and 230 pounds, with tattoos on his arms, police said. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and jeans.
The second suspect stands roughly 5-foot-8, weighs between 170 and 190 pounds and was wearing a dark T-shirt and shorts during the attack, according to the NYPD.
