BROOKLYN — A man was shot in the face by a woman in East New York Thursday night, police said.
The man was in the lobby of 407 Montauk Ave., near New Lots Avenue, when a woman outside pulled a gun and fired into the building about 8 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
He was treated for a facial gunshot wound at Brookdale Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition, the spokesman said.
The woman was not immediately arrested, police said.
Investigators believe she shot him because they were involved in an earlier dispute, they said.
