BROOKLYN — Amazon’s 1-hour delivery service Prime Now is expanding to cover all of Brooklyn for the first time, the online retailer announced Thursday.

Prime Now promises Amazon members groceries, household items, office supplies and electronics delivered to their homes within an hour for a $7.99 fee.

The service had previously only been available in certain Brooklyn neighborhoods, including Brooklyn Heights, Prospect Heights and Fort Greene, according to a spokeswoman for Amazon.

But beginning Sept. 15, it will be available across the whole borough, from "Greenpoint to Coney Island."

Amazon launched the 1-hour delivery service in Manhattan in 2014 and has since slowly expanded its territory to cover Roosevelt Island and Brooklyn.
