Man Swipes $2K From ATM Machines Using Cloned Cards, NYPD Says

BROOKLYN — A man got away with $2,000 in cash after using cloned ATM cards to withdraw money from two TD Banks in Brooklyn, according to a police report.

On July 14 at 4 p.m., the suspect withdrew $1,500 from one victim's account from a TD Bank ATM machine at 269 Fifth Ave. in Park Slope, police say. The next day, at 8:11 a.m. the man withdrew $500 from another victim's account at TD Bank ATM machine at 1301 65th St. in Dyker Heights, according to the NYPD.

The suspect is described as between 40 to 50 years old, between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches, with a beard. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, camouflage shorts, black baseball hat, dark glasses, and sandals, police say.
