“The Jesus” is back … and he’s in Brooklyn.

Actor John Turturro was spotted in Flatbush on Friday, filming a remake of “The Big Lebowski” as his unforgettable bowling ball-licking, purple pantsuit-wearing Jesus Quintana character from the famous Coen brothers film.

A DNAinfo tipster spotted the actor in costume as Quintana (complete with cornrows, we're told) at 61 Martense St. between Flatbush and Bedford avenue.

The residential side street was converted into full-scale film set for “Going Places,” parking signs said. The project has been reported as a “Lebowski” spinoff written, directed and starring Turturro based on a 1974 French film of the same name, according to Variety.

Trailers marked with the character names “Mother” and “Family Man/Frank” were parked near the shoot, which took place inside a large brick apartment building. Parking has been banned on the street for two days.

Turturro, a native of Brooklyn, most recently starred in the HBO mini-series “The Night Of,” a crime mystery set in the five boroughs.

It’s unclear when “Going Places” will be released. But in the meantime, we’ll make do by revisiting this:
