Baby Bambi is melting hearts in Brooklyn.
The adorable Tufted Deer fawn, who is as yet unnamed but is dappled with the white spots that the Disney character sported, made his public debut at the Prospect Park Zoo Tuesday.
The baby, which was born earlier this month, joined his mom Lucy and dad Gage in their habitat on the outdoor Discovery Trail, zoo officials said.
The small deer species is not endangered but has suffered from over-hunting and habitat loss in it native home of central China and northeastern Myanmar, zoo officials said.
Earlier this summer, Prospect Park Zoo announced the arrivals of a new baby otter and the world's tiniest foxes.
