WEST FARMS — Police have arrested a man for killing a 29-year-old father at a Bronx beauty salon in early August.
Gustavo Guillen, 32, was arrested for the death of Julio Lebron, who was shot to death inside the Believe Beauty Salon at Southern Boulevard and East Tremont Avenue around 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 2, according to the NYPD.
Lebron was found mortally wounded inside the salon and taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Two suspects fled in a silver Honda, and police are still looking for the second suspect and the investigation is still ongoing, officials said.
Guillen has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
He has been arrested multiple times before on charges of drunk driving, burglary and criminal contempt, according to the NYPD.
He had not been arraigned as of late Thursday afternoon, officials said.
