BROOKLYN — An X-ray technician at Kings County Hospital was arrested and fired from his job after two female patients said he sexually assaulted them during separate medical procedures hours apart, officials said.

Larry Jones was arrested on Sunday following two complaints from the patients, ages 83 and 57, who told the NYPD the technician molested them while they were getting X-rays the day before.

The first incident happened around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 when the 83-year-old patient was getting an X-ray at the Clarkson Avenue hospital and Jones allegedly digitally penetrated her, according to police. Then hours later, at 5:30 p.m., he did the same thing to the 57-year-old patient during a test, and also put his mouth on her genitals, according to police and court documents.

Jones was arraigned on multiple counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching and held on $7,500 bail, court records show. Jones’ attorney could not be reached for comment. he is due back in court on Aug. 26, court records show.

The hospital said they terminated Jones “immediately” after the allegations were made.

“We are committed to the safety of our patients, have zero tolerance for such behavior and consider this a very serious allegation,” a NYC Health and Hospitals spokesman said in a statement.

Jones had worked at the hospital as an X-ray technician since 2003, the hospital said, and went through “extensive background checks” before being hired.

“Our internal review into this individual’s history is ongoing, and we continue to work closely with the NYPD in its investigation. We take this matter very seriously, since patient safety is always our top priority,” the statement added.

New of the arrest was first reported by the New York Post.
