WEST BRIGHTON — Residents with questions about the Zika virus can get answers from health experts at a forum on Tuesday night.

Rep. Dan Donovan will host the "Zika Virus Information Forum" at Richmond University Medical Center, at 355 Bard Ave., with a presentation from the city's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Donovan said the forum will also give a chance for health experts to dispel common myths about the virus and field questions from the audience.

The forum will start at 7 p.m. inside the Sipp Auditorium of the hospital.

Currently, there have been 579 reported cases of the virus in New York, all which had been contracted abroad, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
