Halloween isn't just for kids.

From the Village Halloween Parade to Blood Manor, New York City does Halloween right. Whether you want to cut loose at a costume party or scare the living daylights out of your friends at a haunted house, here's a roundup of just a few ways to celebrate.

MANHATTAN

Blood Manor
When: 
Various dates and times starting Friday, Sept. 30 to Saturday, Nov. 5  
Where: 163 Varick St., Hudson Square

If you're looking to scare the living daylights out of you and your friends, check out Blood Manor. The attractions include The Crypt, Thunderdome, Maggot Invasion and Hannibal's Hell. General admission tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. There are also express tickets available. 

New York Haunted Hayride

When: Thursday, Oct. 27 to Monday, Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Where: Randall’s, 20 Island Park, Randall's Island

The trek to Randalls Island will be especially scary when you arrive to tours with names such as House of Shadows, Purgatory Haunted Village and Theater Macabre. After 8 years in Los Angeles, this is the Haunted Hayride's second year in New York.

Crypt Crawl

When: Friday, Oct. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 29 from 1 to 5 p.m.)
Where: Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Ave. at 112th Street, Morningside Heights

For a truly spine-chilling Halloween experience, stop by the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine to learn about the process of entombment and walk around the cathedral's crypt.

►Prince-Themed Halloween Party

When: Friday, Oct. 28, 9 p.m.
Where: Angel of Harlem, 2272 Frederick Douglass Blvd., Central Harlem

The pop icon's style is unmatched, but fans can have the opportunity to sport his signature purple ensembles or perhaps a ripped vest with leopard print to honor the multitalented musician at a Halloween bash hosted at one of Harlem's hotspots.

► Halloween Party and Costume Contest at Treadwell Park

When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 11:30 a.m.; costume contest at 6 p.m.
Where: 1125 First Ave., Upper East Side

Wear your best Halloween costume for a chance to win a beer gift basket at Treadwell Park's Halloween party. A face painter will be on hand as well as a slew of treats, including cotton candy, and a "Season Your Own" popcorn station. Treadwell Park will also be serving up Avery Brewing Co.'s "Demons of Ale" series that includes selections like Avery "Rumpkin," which is rum barrel-aged pumpkin beer. There is no cover for this event.

Hamilton Heights' 2nd Annual Halloween Charity Fun Run 

When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 3:30 p.m.
Where: Convent Garden located at 152nd Street and St. Nicholas Avenue., Harlem 

Runners and walkers in costumes will explore a 3-mile course around the neighborhood.  During the run, participants will also stop by local businesses along the way. BO NO Trattoria will host a pizza party for the runners.

► NYC Halloween All Access Pass
When: Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m.
Where: Various participating venues; Official starting points are The Official Haunted Mansion Party, 624-660 W. 42nd St., and Maple Lounge of Horror, 157 W. 47th St., Midtown

If party-hopping is your idea of a good time, the NYC Halloween All Access Pass might be the way to go. Partygoers pick up their wristbands at one of two starting points and then can jump to different venues including Ainsworth Midtown, Clinton Hall, Haven and Yotel. There will be 1-hour open bars at some locations and DJ sets. Tickets are $15.

Masquerade Ball at Capitale
When: 
Saturday, Oct. 29, doors open at 9 p.m.
Where: Capitale, 130 Bowery, Lower East Side

Start your Halloween celebrations a couple days early with a masquerade ball. Your entry gets you a 1-hour open vodka bar from 9 to 10 p.m. DJs will keep you dancing in this multi-level, two-room club. General admission is $10. A $25 Royal VIP Access ticket will get you priority admission and entry to the Royal VIP Lounge.

Haunted Hotel Halloween

When: Saturday, Oct. 29, doors open at 9 p.m.
Where: PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown, 210 W. 55th St., Midtown

The Dream Hotel in Midtown will become a haunted hotel on the Saturday before Halloween. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes to this "spooky" event at the hotel's PHD Terrace, which will serve up drinks and "surprises." Tickets start at $40.

► Village Halloween Parade

When: Monday, Oct. 31 from 7 to 10:30 p.m.
Where: Sixth Avenue from Spring to 16th streets, Greenwich Village

March in the 43rd annual edition of the parade or check out the costumes and floats along Sixth Avenue. You can expect hundreds of puppets, bands, dancers, artists and more.

BROOKLYN

Pumpkin Pie Party (With Beer)

When: Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Daly Pie, 665 Vanderbilt Ave., Prospect Heights

Try two pumpkin pie-inspired sundaes at this new Prospect Heights bakery and cafe, which each come with a beer of your choice for $12. There will also be gourd decorating, orange-shirt-wearing and celebrating of all things pumpkin at this festive weeknight party.

Stranger Things (With Candy) Halloween Party

When: Friday Oct. 28 at 10:30 p.m.
Where: Littlefield, 622 Degraw St., Gowanus

Get ready to dance at this almost-Halloween party that features DJ Steve Reynolds playing tracks from 1983 and beyond. There will be $5 to $8 drink specials, candy and makeovers inspired by the hit Netflix show "Stranger Things." Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.

Hallowanus VI

When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Where: Gowanus Studio Space, 166 Seventh St., Gowanus

Killer DJs Chewrocks and Scribe provide the tunes, and Gowanus Studio Space provides the fear at this costume dance party complete with a photo booth to make some Halloween memories. Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door.

THE BRONX

Brew at the Zoo

When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 7 to 11 p.m.
Where: Bronx Zoo

More than 40 beer vendors and 100 varieties of beer will be on hand at the Bronx Zoo, along with food trucks, live music and a costume contest to help people get into the Halloween spirit. Tickets are $44.99 for general admission or $29.99 for designated drivers, and the event is only for people 21 and over.

Scarecrow Nights

When: Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct. 29, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Bronx Zoo

QUEENS

Crossroads: A Haunted Masquarade

When: Friday, Oct. 28, 9 p.m.
Where: The Paper Factory Hotel, 37-06 36th St., Long Island City

The hotel will transform itself into an interactive haunted house for the night where you'll be able to experience immersive theater, music, fire breathers and burlesque dancers. Tickets are $30.

 Halloween Rooftop Costume Party

When: Saturday, Oct 29, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: Sheraton Four Points Hotel, 27-05 39th Ave., Astoria

For a laid-back Halloween experience, come to a costume cocktail party on the rooftop of the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Queens. There is no cover.

5th Annual MoMA PS1 Halloween Ball

When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Where: MoMA PS1, 22-25 Jackson Ave., Long Island City

This museum hosts it annual Halloween bash, where this year's theme is "The White House of Horror." The celebration will include features live performances, DJs, dancing and costumes. Tickets start at $18.

 Grease Sing-A-Long

When: Oct. 31, 4 and 8 p.m.
Where: Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing

Get dressed up as Sandy, Rizzo, Frenchy and Danny and sing-a-long to the songs from the movie "Grease." Flushing Town Hall is playing the movie along with lyrics on screens for fans of all ages to belt out their favorites. Tickets are $13, $10 for adults, and $8, $6 for members who are children. For $2, the Town Hall will also throw in a bag of fun props.
