Police Release Photos of Suspect in Queens Drug Debt Shooting

QUEENS — Police have released photos of a suspect wanted for the shooting death of a Queens man over a possible drug debt in Jamaica two weeks ago.

Naveed Hanif, 23, was found with bullet wounds in his back in the stairway of a two-story house on 157th Street, near 109th Avenue, just after 9:30 p.m. on July 25, police said.

Hanif was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police released surveillance photos of a suspect wearing a du-rag and carrying a bicycle on Monday afternoon.
