In a historic move President Obama has reduced the sentences for more than 200, mostly non-violent federal drug offenders, some of whom were serving life sentences. Don’t Fall for Bogus Kids’ Zika Prevention Products, Attorney General Says

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is warning parents against products for children like the Wildheart Outdoors Natural Mosquito Repellent Bracelet and Kenza High Quality Zika Mosquito Repellent Smiley Patch that claim to prevent Zika by using ingredients like B vitamins, essential oils and ultrasound energy to supposedly deter mosquitoes. The products, which Schneiderman called “absolutely shameless,” haven’t been approved by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Instead, parents should take measures like eliminating standing water in or near their homes, wearing pants or long sleeves, and using mosquito repellents that have been registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
