FOREST HILLS — Police are looking for two men they say tried to use a stolen credit card to buy $1,000 worth of gift cards at the newly opened Forest Hills Target.

The suspects attempted to use the card on July 27 around 6 p.m. in the store at 70-00 Austin St., officials said.

When the card was declined they fled, police said.

The card was stolen from a 22-year-old woman about 30 minutes earlier, police said. The victim realized she had lost her wallet after she boarded an E train at the Sutphin Boulevard subway station in Jamaica, according to the NYPD.

Police released surveillance video of the suspects.

One of the men can be seen wearing a dark shirt with "GUESS" on the front, blue shorts and he has a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.

His accomplice is seen wearing a baseball hat with the letter "B," blue shorts, a dark jacket and a white T-shirt with "GAP" on the front.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
