EAST ELMHURST — A European hotel with a focus on style and affordability is opening near LaGuardia Airport.
The ibis Styles Hotel, at 100-33 Ditmars Blvd. across the Grand Central Parkway near the airport, is set to open in 2017, according to online job listings.
Permits filed with the Department of Buildings and a sign posted also confirm the hotel will be an ibis Styles.
They're currently hiring for a director of sales, an area general manager and a general manager.
ibis Styles is part of the Accor Hotels group, a global company that includes the Sofitel and Novitel hotel brands.
The economy hotel "offers you the ultimate comfort," their website says.
An email to a representative for Interstate Hotels, who will be managing ibis Styles, was not immediately returned.
