TIMES SQUARE — A CD seller snatched $30 from a British tourist’s wallet and threatened to beat up her boyfriend if she didn’t fork over more cash, the NYPD said.

The 20-year-old tourist, from York, England, was walking with her boyfriend in front of 750 Seventh Ave., at West 50th Street, around 3:45 p.m. on July 19 when Norman Dailey, 30, approached them and asked for a donation, police and a complaint filed with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office said.

The woman took out her wallet, at which point Dailey reached inside and removed $30 without her permission, the DA’s office said.

Dailey then asked the woman to pay the other CD sellers in his group, too.

“We will beat him up if you don’t pay,” Dailey said, referring to the woman’s boyfriend, according to police.

The boyfriend later identified Dailey in a police lineup, the NYPD said.

Upon his arrest, an officer found marijuana in Dailey’s front pocket, police said.

He was arrested and charged with grand larceny, the DA’s office said.

He was released on $2,500 bail Friday and is next scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 5, the DA’s office and city Department of Correction records show.

The CD seller's attorney declined to comment on his arrest.
