CROWN HEIGHTS — A woman was found dead in Brower Park by a man walking his dog Saturday afternoon, police said.

The man, identified by CBS New York as Kendale Golson, was walking in the park shortly before 2:30 p.m. when he came across the unidentified 35-year-old woman, police said.

Golson told CBS his dog dragged him over to a nearby bush, where police said he spotted the unresponsive woman with a rag over her face and a sheet covering her body. She was fully clothed with no obvious signs of trauma, according to police.

EMTs responded soon after, and pronounced the woman dead at the scene, police said. The woman's name has not yet been released, pending family notification.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

The body was one of at least two found in New York City parks this weekend. On Sunday, a woman was found slumped over dead on a bench in McCarren Park.
