BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a woman they said punched a fellow subway rider at the Broadway Junction station.
The victim, a 21-year-old woman, was stepping aside to let people off a Manhattan-bound J train around 9:30 a.m. on July 11 when she bumped the suspect, officials said.
The suspect pulled the woman to the ground by her hair and punched her several times in the face, resulting in a concussion, according to police.
Officials describe the suspect as 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-5 and with a thin build. She was last seen wearing a black top, a black and white print skirt and flip flops.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
