BROOKLYN — A bicyclist was critically injured Sunday night when he was hit by a drunk motorcyclist who was driving the wrong way on a Greenpoint street, an NYPD spokesman said.

The 40-year-old bicyclist was riding north on Franklin Street about 9:15 p.m. when Louis Cajigas, 52, who was later arrested, slammed into him near Greenpoint Avenue, the NYPD said.

The bicyclist was taken to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan and listed in critical condition, police said.

Cajigas was taken to Woodhull Medical Center in stable condition, the NYPD said.

He faced charges of operating a motor vehicle with a .08 blood alcohol content and with refusing to take a breathalizer test, police said.

Police drew his blood to determine his blood alcohol level, a spokesman said.
