A NWS spokeswoman warned that the storms might also bring damaging winds and possibly hail, but they won't bring much immediate heat relief. Temperatures are expected to be lower Tuesday, with a high in the upper 80s and less humidity, the spokeswoman said.

Temperatures are expected to dip down into the low 80s on Wednesday before soaring back into the 90s for the weekend, according to the NWS website.
