WILLIAMSBURG — Roommate drama never goes away, no matter how old you are.

Two people who argued with a 65-year-old woman about “living arrangements,” attacked her with a broom and punched her repeatedly inside their apartment, according to law enforcement officials.

Police arrested Sauluk Cheng, 66, and Liuzhen Zhang, 54, soon after the attack, which took place inside their Lindsay Park apartment on Manhattan Avenue in Williamsburg on July 7.

Cheng struck the victim with a broom while Zhang hurled her belongings across the apartment and punched her repeatedly, police said.

The attack left the woman battered and bruised on her back and neck and she was rushed to Woodhull Hospital where a Mandarin translator helped her explain what had happened, police said.

Prosecutors charged Zhang and Cheng with assault, menacing and harassment.

A manager at Lindsay Park coop didn't respond immediately to a request for comment.

The pair were released without bail and are due back in court on Sept. 20. Zhang's attorney couldn't be reached immediately for comment. No information about Cheng's attorney was available immediately.
