Duo Stabs Man's Arm in Anti-Gay Assault, Police Say

THE BRONX — A pair of men yelling anti-gay slurs stabbed another man in the arm in what police are investigating as a possible hate crime, NYPD officials said.

The two, who can be seen in video released by police Tuesday, attacked the 49-year-old man near Sunset Boulevard and Neptune Lane, in Clason Point, about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.

They stabbed his left arm while making anti-gay remarks then fled the scene, NYPD officials said.

The victim was treated at Montefiore's Westchester Square Campus where he's listed as being in stable condition, police said.

One suspect wore a light tank top and light pants, while the other wore a hoodie with shorts, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
