Here's Where You Should Go Eat This Restaurant Week

New York City's twice-yearly Restaurant Week is now running with a record number of 387 restaurants that represent over 30 different cuisines participating in the deal.

The roster of restaurants in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island is offering New Yorkers deals like 3-course lunches for $29 and 3-course dinners for $42 through Aug. 19, according to the event's website.

Check with your restaurant of choice to find out which dishes are a part of the Restaurant Week deals.

Here are a few restaurants consider trying: 

Staten Island:

Brioso Ristorante, 174 New Dorp Lane, New Dorp

Have some delectable Sicilian dishes without having to leave the Island. They have menu items like fresh seafood pasta, and Italian deserts like tartufo and pannacotta. 

Carol's Cafe, 1571 Richmond Road, Dongan Hills 

Head to cooking teacher Carol Franzzetta's restaurant in Staten Island and sample unique food combinations like red beet tart with goat cheese, and caramel shrimp. There's also an array of pasta and shellfish-based dishes. It's ideal for anyone who is looking for a hearty meal. 

Manhattan: 

The Cecil, 210 W. 118th St., Harlem 

This Harlem eatery fuses African and Asian cuisines. There are options like whole Nigerian prawns, green curry and brown rice grits. There are also interesting cocktails and a HUGE list of red wines, white wines and rosés. 

Little Park, Thompson Hotel, 85 W. Broadway, TriBeCa 

Health nuts who want have high-end recipes can eat wholesome meals that are as visually pleasing as they are delicious. Patrons can try carrot risotto, rainbow trout and Long Island duck. 

Brooklyn: 

Tanoreen, 7523 Third Ave., Bay Ridge 

Named after a town in Lebanon, this restaurant boasts fresh Mediterranean and Middle Eastern based cuisine. There's creamy hummus, mini spinach pies and a variety of kebobs. 

Buttermilk Channel, 524 Court St., Carroll Gardens

This Brooklyn eatery was named for the tidal strait between Brooklyn and Governor's Island. Its menu has a lot of interesting options like maple and bacon roasted almonds, duck meatloaf, and buttermilk fried chicken. There's even a kid's menu for tots who want to be adventurous for lunch or dinner. 

Queens: 

London Lennie's, 63-88 Woodhaven Blvd., Forest Hills 

For quality fresh seafood in the middle of Queens, head to London Lennie's. They have so many plates of baked clams, steamed shrimp and crab dumplings, and organic salmon salads. 

MP Taverna — Astoria, 31-29 Ditmars Blvd., Astoria 

Anyone who enjoys great tavern food and the lively atmosphere of Mediterranean restaurants should consider trying MP Taverna. There's yogurt dips and sides of lamb along with other dishes like lamb meatballs, grilled swordfish and a variety of pita wraps.
