TIMES SQUARE — Times Square is about to get twice the cheesecake.

Brooklyn-based Junior’s Restaurant — once credited for serving the best cheesecake in New York — is opening another outpost down the block from its West 45th Street and Broadway location next year, an assistant to the chain’s owner confirmed Wednesday.

The restaurant will open at 1626 Broadway, between West 49th and West 50th streets, in the space formerly occupied by Ruby Foo’s, the New York Times reported.

The 300-seat eatery will have a bakery on site and plans to offer live entertainment, the paper said.

Junior’s, which opened in Brooklyn in 1950, closed its Grand Central Terminal location after a fire broke out there in March.

In February, owner Alan Rosen said he plans to open a new restaurant in South Florida.
