HELL’S KITCHEN — A thief stole a cash register and more than $1,200 from a Ninth Avenue tapas spot where an attacker punched a pair of servers in a separate incident, police said.

A surveillance camera captured the male suspect entering Kashkaval Garden at 852 Ninth Ave., between West 55th and West 56th streets, around 8:24 a.m. on June 23, the NYPD said

The front door was unlocked at the time and several employees were inside the restaurant, but it wasn’t open for business, police said.

Once inside, the thief went behind the counter and grabbed a $120 cash register filled with $1,211 in cash before fleeing the eatery, the NYPD said.

Police did not say whether employees saw the man in the act.

A manager working at the eatery on Friday declined to comment on the theft.

Back in May, a man punched a waiter and a waitress at Kashkaval Garden before fleeing the scene.
