Cash and Cartons of Cigarettes Stolen From Boerum Hill Deli, Police Say

BOERUM HILL — A thief made off with cash and three cartons of cigarettes from a local deli and grocery store in Boerum Hill this month, police said.

The man is accused of breaking into Warren Deli Grocery, located at 429 Warren St. near Bond Street, on June 4 at about 10:50 p.m., police said. 

He entered through an unlocked cellar door and broke through a locked basement door to get into the shop, according to police.

The store was robbed of $300 in cash and the cigarette cartons. 

Police released photographs of a man wanted in connection to the burglary. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and shorts.
