A Staten Island cowboy moseyed into town Monday, riding into the sunset over the Outerbridge Crossing.
Wearing a white Stetson with his belongings hitched to his steed, the mystery man rode into the borough leading a second horse by the reins.
The rider was caught on video by Twitter user Ryan Joseph, who was stuck in traffic because of the cowboy's journey.

The Port Authority Police — which can be seen in the video apparently escorting the cowboy on his journey — did not immediately respond to comment but told Gothamist they followed him to get him across the bridge safely and are working on identifying the man.
It's a violation to take a horse across the bridge, the Port Authority told Gothamist.
While officials haven't officially named the rider, the Staten Island Advance reports he's believed to be Doc Mishler of Montana, who has been riding his horses cross country for the past several years to raise awareness for childhood hunger.
