England has decided to secede from the European Union, and the pound sterling has plummeted to a 30-year low.

It's been a hectic and messy ordeal for people across the pond and beyond. So if you're feeling bummed for your English counterparts, or if you'll be feeling the pinch over Brexit, here are a few pubs where you can drown your sorrows:

► The Churchill Tavern, 45 E. 28th St., Flatiron

Named for Winston Churchill, this tavern has a a wide range of scotches, more than 10 types of bourbon and several Irish and rye whiskeys. They also have sticky toffee pudding and bread pudding and custard for dessert along with side dishes that will be perfect for balancing out all the pints you'll be sure to savor all night long.

The Black Horse Pub, 568 5th Ave., Park Slope

This pub has a noon to 7 p.m. happy hour and over 15 beers on tap, making it easy to grab cheap drinks and keep track of Brexit reactions on your phone. Snack on curry chips and Shepard's pie to avoid having the drinks go to your head too early.

GMT Tavern, 142 Bleecker St., Greenwich Village

Not only does this watering hole have a menu exclusively for draft beers and bottled beers, there is also a whole separate menu for wine, cocktails and "infusions." They have names like London Buck, Penicillin, and Hot Limey. Their food menu is a mix of American and British fare.

Half King, 505 W. 23rd St., Chelsea

Like many other pubs in the city, this location has an impressive range of spirits, especially whiskeys. But it also has different teas like earl gray, green tea, jasmine and black currant. There are also specialty sodas like Fentiman's traditional rose lemonade. It's perfect if you'd like to try different things in between guzzling other drinks.

Pound & Pence, 55 Liberty St., Financial District

Though a lot of pubs across New York have great food to accompany their drinks, this place has great hearty food like bangers and mash, English beef stew, and chicken pot pie along with over 10 single malt scotch whiskeys. If Brexit is really getting you down, the soothing environment may help out.

Jones Wood Foundry, 401 E. 76th St., Upper East Side

Have a Cambridge Burnt Cream dessert or a Shakespeare sundae alongside an array of ciders and beers. Satiate your sweet tooth and soothe your weary heart at the same time in this cozy place. It'll almost be like England was still part of the E.U...almost.

The Slaughtered Lamb Pub, 182 W. 4th St., West Village

Named after the original pub that was once north of London. It's open super late on Fridays and Saturdays, so it's perfect if your frustration with the UK hits you during the late night hours. They also have a beer menu organized by countries, and they have more than 10 bottles from Britain.

Longbow Pub & Pantry, 7316 3rd Ave., Bay Ridge

According to various local publications, this pub is said to have one of the best fish and chips in the borough. So have a pint, take a bite of the fresh cut fries while you relax.

The Monro Pub, 481 5th Ave., Park Slope

Come and enjoy this pub's homey feel and drink cocktails with names like Dark 'n Stormy, Blue Monday, and Monro Toddy. There are also different types of pies and pasties like chicken and leek or steak and kidney pie to help make you feel warm inside.

Cock & Bull, 23 W. 45th St, Midtown

This pub's website aspires to make you "eat, drink, and be merry all to your heart's content." So if you'd really like to cheer up with food and two British style cask ales, come here. The background music is also predominantly British bands.
