BROOKLYN — Seven people were injured in a vehicle crash near Brooklyn College Monday evening, fire officials said.
The crash happened at 1594 Flatbush Ave. near Avenue H around 6:53 p.m., according to an FDNY spokesman.
Seven people were taken to area hospitals, fire officials said.
Raton Islam, who works at an incense and body oil store near the crash site, said he thought three or four cars were involved, and that people were seriously injured.
"I herad the impact in the store," he said.
"I heard a big boom. A very, very loud boom," said Zinguo Ha, the manager of Amigo 99 Cent of Brooklyn at Flatbush Avenue and Avenue H.
The street was closed in the aftermath of the crash, Islam said.
Police did not have any immediate information about the incident.
