BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — Police arrested two teen girls accused of beating a 78-year-old woman after she asked one of them to move their feet so she could sit on the subway, officials said.

Jazmine Watson, 16, and a 15-year-old were charged with second-degree assault Friday, according to police.

The teens were aboard a southbound C train with the victim around 3:30 p.m. on June 2 when the woman asked one of them to move her feet so she could sit down, sources said.

After getting off the train at Franklin Avenue, the girls punched and kicked the woman, according to police.

The suspects’ mothers brought their daughters to separate Brooklyn precincts to turn themselves in to police on Friday, sources said.

Watson, 16, is being charged as an adult and the 15-year-old is charged as a juvenile, police said.

Watson was released on her own recognizance, according to court records, and is due back in court on July 5.

Attorney information for the teen was not immediately available.
