If you thought tickets on StubHub for "Hamilton" were expensive now, get ready for prices to skyrocket for shows happening in the next few weeks.

Superstar playwright and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda has set a date for his final performance in his Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony-nominated musical, and fans will be desperate for one last chance to see him rap as Alexander Hamilton.

Miranda will take his final bow on the stage of the Richard Rogers Theatre in Midtown on July 9, The Wrap reported Thursday

The New York native has a number of projects lined up for the future, including a film adaptation of his Tony Award-winning musical, “In the Heights." He will also star in Disney's "Mary Poppins" sequel, slated to open in theaters in December 2018

It's hard to predict how Miranda's exit will impact tickets sales for "Hamilton" past July 9, but the show has had an influence on the city extending far beyond Broadway. The musical has given neighborhoods like Hamilton Heights and Washington Heights new cachet on the real estate market and inspired educational programs, including a summer camp at the New York Historical Society
