HELL’S KITCHEN — A homeless man with a knife in one hand and a hammer in the other swung the weapons at a pedestrian on a Hell’s Kitchen sidewalk, authorities said.

The 46-year-old victim, who lives in Brooklyn, was walking at the northwest corner of West 56th Street and 10th Avenue around 6:10 p.m. on May 16 when Jesse Dominick, 41, approached him holding the knife and hammer, according to a criminal complaint with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

As Dominick approached, he swung both weapons at the man’s neck, police and the complaint said.

A witness told police the victim pushed Dominick back, avoiding serious injury.

Dominick was arrested and charged with one count of menacing and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, the DA's office said.

Dominick, whom police described as homeless, previously received summonses in May and July 2015 for disorderly conduct and drinking alcohol on the street, court records show.

He is currently being held on $500 bail or $1,000 bond and is expected to next appear in court on June 16, city Department of Correction records show.

An attorney for Dominick did not respond to a request for comment.
