MANHATTAN — The businessman accused of bribing officers in the NYPD’s License Division visited the NYPD's headquarters about twice a week for six months in 2015, according to an indictment filed against him in Manhattan Federal Court Monday.

Alex Lichtenstein, 44, would regularly show up at the unit at One Police Plaza before it officially opened for business in the morning and met with at least three officers, sources previously told DNAinfo New York.

The investigation is tied to an ongoing corruption probe into fundraising for Mayor Bill de Blasio’s former nonprofit set up to advance his political agenda, the Campaign for One New York.

The FBI busted Lichtenstein after he tried to bribe an officer who was working undercover for the feds with $6,000, prosecutors said.

He claimed to have gotten permits for about 150 weapons after charging friends and associates about $18,000 per weapon.

A new inspector, 31-year NYPD veteran Terence Moore, was brought in by the NYPD to clean up the License Division, but he abruptly quit earlier this month after being in the position for just two weeks.
