CROWN HEIGHTS — A large new studio and office for A&E Networks is expected to move into Crown Heights soon.

The television network is planning a new space at 1000 Dean St. in the neighborhood, using 11,775 square feet of space on the ground and second floors of the former Studebaker warehouse building on Dean Street between Franklin and Classon avenues to create a digital studio and offices, a source with knowledge of the deal said.

The facility will service various channels run by A&E, including the History Channel, Lifetime and Viceland, according to earlier reporting by Ad Age. The studio at 1000 Dean St. will operate under the name 45th & Dean, the magazine said.

It’s unclear when the network will move to the new space. Brokers for the office building could not comment on the deal. An inquiry to A&E was not returned Tuesday.

Since its opening in 2014, the office building at 1000 Dean St. has attracted a variety of tenants, including the San Francisco-based co-working company Vault, Long Island guitar-string makers D’Addario and the local nonprofit Brooklyn Community Foundation.

The complex also includes the Berg’n beer hall and food court, located in an adjacent Bergen Street building connected to 1000 Dean St. by passageway.
