The Bronx Zoo has a new addition.
A Bolivian gray titi monkey was born in April, and the creature is now on exhibit with its family in the zoo's World of Birds exhibit.
The monkeys share their mixed-species habitat with animals including golden lion tamarins and gray-winged trumpeters. The installation is meant to resemble a South American rainforest.
The monkeys live in trees and eat fruit, leaves and insects. They are a small species with thick, fluffy fur.
They are also monogamous, and families often intertwine their tails, which demonstrates their strong social bonds, according to The Bronx Zoo.
