Treat yourself this Tuesday with a free scoop of ice cream at your local Häagen-Dazs.

The ice cream shop will be giving out scoops between 4 and 8 p.m. as part of Free Cone Day at stores nationwide.

Customers can satisfy their sweet tooth with a free kiddie size scoop of any flavor in either a cup, sugar cone or cake cone.

Free Cone Day will be especially sweet for the Brooklyn Heights parlor, at 120 Montague St., which reopened last week after closing for renovations, according to Brooklyn Paper

The 40-year-old establishment closed for more than a month for a makeover that included a completely new interior, Brooklyn Paper reports.

“We opened a week ago, so it’s very fortuitous,” owner Michael Schuster told Brooklyn Paper.

The Montague Street location, the world’s first Häagen-Dazs store, opened in 1976.

Schuster, one of the longest serving Häagen-Dazs store owners, told Brooklyn Paper that owning and revamping the Brooklyn Heights location is the highlight of his career.

“Taking over this store was a nice cap in my career,” he said. “I get the first store. I get to renovate it.”

Häagen-Dazs at 120 Montague St., between Hicks and Henry Streets, is open from noon to 10 p.m. Get a free scoop between 4 and 8 p.m.
