MIDTOWN — A hotel guest slashed her friend’s hand with a knife after the two got into an argument over who would pay the internet bill for their room, police said.

The victim, a 28-year-old from Brooklyn, told police she was staying with a friend at the Roosevelt Hotel at 45 E. 45th St., between Madison and Park avenues, when the two got into a fight about the internet bill around 5:30 a.m. on April 29.

"I'm not paying for the internet," the attacker said to her friend at some point during the altercation, police said.

As the fight escalated, the woman grabbed a knife from a room service tray and sliced her friend on the right hand, leaving a cut, police said.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment, the NYPD said.

Her friend fled the hotel after the attack, police said.

A representative for the Roosevelt Hotel did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.
