Even on this busiest brunch day of the year, New Yorkers shouldn't have trouble finding a tasty spot to take mom this Mother's Day.
Nearly a fifth of of nation's 100 best brunch spots are located in New York City, according to a survey of diners by the restaurant-reservation site OpenTable.
The site combed through its roster of more than 20,000 restaurants to determine the best places for brunch, with the winners based on more than 5 million reviews submitted to the site.
The top 100 list, which span 26 states, had New York with the largest proportion of winners — with 19 restaurants in New York City and one in Yonkers.
The Empire State is "arguably the birthplace of brunch," OpenTable announced in a release.
