CROWN HEIGHTS — Police are looking for help identifying a man who was touching himself and verbally harassing a woman riding the 3 train in Crown Heights last month.
The 47-year-old victim told police she was riding the train toward Manhattan at about 3 p.m. on April 19 near the Franklin Avenue station when the man began touching himself while speaking to the woman and staring at her.
The woman took a picture of the man on her cell phone during the incident. The police department released that photo to the public on Tuesday showing the suspect sitting on the train with his hands folded in his lap wearing a baseball cap, jacket, dark pants and a striped shirt.
Police say the man is in this 50s and stands approximately 5-foot-9. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at (800) 577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, (888) 57-PISTA (74782).
