Meee-owch!

The flier spotted on the bulletin board of a Bushwick coffee shop claims to be hosting a protest against the Broadway revival of "CATS" the musical Wednesday afternoon.

It looks like the claws are out, according to the posting, and the fur is about to fly.

"CATS the musical is poised to return to Broadway on July 14th 2016, THIS CANNOT HAPPEN," the flier that was posted at Wyckoff Star several weeks ago reads. "It an insult to the theater arts and general populace. The musical has no plot. The music is terrible. The costumes are humiliating."

"The choreography doesn't even resemble feline movement! As a nation we owe it to future generations to STOP this musical from coming back to life."

The protest is slated to begin at Maria Hernandez Park Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m. (We'll be there.) An emailed request for comment bounced back pleaselordstopcats@gmail.com.

"CATS" the musical returns to Broadway this July at the Neil Simon Theatre at 250 West 52nd Street. The musical ceased performances in 2000 after and 18-year jaunt, Billboard reported.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, which was based on a book of T.S. Eliot poems, originally hit Broadway in May 1981 and was the fourth longest running show on the Great White Way with 7,486 performances.

Representatives for CATS and the Neil Simon Theatre couldn't be reached for comment on the "CATS"-lash against the revival.

Twitter users claimed they'd seen the flier in other locations as well.

While others said they planned on organizing a counter-protest to the anti-CATS protest with a rally of their own.

The revival of CATS the is slated to open on Broadway this July.
