Episode VIII may not be set for release until December 2017, but that's no reason to skimp on "'Star Wars' Day" celebrations Wednesday.

Designated as such by pun lovers, May the Fourth (be with you) offers fans the chance to break out their Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren costumes, re-watch their favorite films — by which we mean the original trilogy and Episode VII — and test their knowledge of the Jedi code.

Here's what's planned for the holiday in New York City this year:

Manhattan

► Star Wars "The Force Awakens + Original Trilogy" Trivia

Where: 310 Bowery Bar, 310 Bowery, East Village
When: Tuesday, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Get a head start on your May the Fourth celebrations and test your knowledge of X-wings, droids and Wookiees at this trivia event. First-prize winners score a $200 gift card. You can RSVP for yourself and your Jedi team here

► May the Fourth Be with You: Star Wars Day!

Where: Discovery Times Square, 226 West 42nd St., Times Square
When: Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

With a display of 70 franchise costumes, this exhibition space is offering free gifts to the first 50 Star Wars fans in line and free admission all day to kids under 12 dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters. Adults who show up in costume between 6 and 8 p.m. will be entered in a lottery for an unspecified prize. (We're pretty sure it's not a get-out-of-jury-duty-free card.)

► White Elephant Burlesque: STAR WARS May the 4th Be With WE

Where: Rockbar NYC, 185 Christopher St., West Village
When: Wednesday, 8 p.m.

Get intimate with Admiral Ackbar, Princess Leia, Boba Fett, C-3PO and Poe Dameron as they strip for your entertainment. Tickets cost $5.

► HUMP Star Wars: May the 4th Be With You

Where: Rumpus Room, 249 Eldridge St., Lower East Side
When: Wednesday, 10 p.m.

Dance like you're partying at the Mos Eisley Cantina to sets by DJs Alex Chapman, Michael Cavadias and Gabe Levy at this Lower East Side dance club.

Queens

 Star Wars Drink & Draw

Where: Astoria Bier and Cheese, 35-11 Ditmars Blvd., Astoria
When: Wednesday, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sketch your crushes Rey and Poe while sipping craft beer on tap.

Quite The Character Show: Star Wars Episode 9 3/4

Where: QED: A Place to Show and Tell, 27-16 23rd Ave., Astoria
When: Wednesday, 9 p.m.

Does Emperor Palpantine actually have a funny bone in his Sith body? Kudos to the comedian performing as the phantom menace at this stand-up show hosted by Luke Skywalker (a.k.a Remy Faulding). Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased here

Brooklyn

#MayTheFourth "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" Screening

Where: Gemini & Scorpio Loft, Douglass St., Gowanus
When: Wednesday, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Watch Episode 7 — for the fifth time? — on a large screen and order some sci-fi-themed cocktails at this Gowanus events space. The screening starts at 8:30 p.m. and the suggested donation is $10.

 "Star Wars" Series Screening

Where: Gotham City Lounge, 1293 Myrtle Avenue, Bushwick
When: Wednesday, TBD

If one "Star Wars" film isn't enough, watch them all at this dive bar — and return the next day for tequila shots in honor of Cinco de Mayo.
