BROOKLYN — The 2 train will not run from Flatbush Av to Franklin Av at night this week as part of FASTRACK clean-up and maintenance, the MTA said.
All 2 train service will be suspended in both directions during those times between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Monday May 2 to Friday May 6, according to the agency.
For other transportation options during those times take the following alternatives:
• For service between the Franklin Av and Flatbush Av stations, take free shuttle buses.
• Transfer between free shuttle buses and 2 and 4 service at the Franklin Av station.
• 2 trains will make all 3 station stops between Chambers St and Utica Av during FASTRACK work.
• 4 trains will make all 3 station stops between Nevins St and New Lots Av. Service to New Lots Av will start early.
• Transfer between 2 and 4 trains at the Utica Av station.
• Consider using Q service to and from nearby stations.
FASTRACK started in 2012 to allow the MTA to do a variety of maintenance and cleanup in the stations and tracks in the affected area.
Check the MTA's website for more information about service changes.
