UPPER WEST SIDE — A pair of armed robbers followed an Upper West Side man into his building vestibule Sunday morning and stole thousands of dollars in cash and electronics, police said.
The male suspects followed the 53-year-old into his West 81st Street apartment building around 6:45 a.m., pulled out a gun and demanded the man hand over two bags containing $3,400 in cash, as well as a cellphone and two iPads, the NYPD said.
The two suspects then fled in a mid-size black SUV, police said.
Surveillance footage showed the two men running into an unidentified building.
