Behold, the king of Bagel Island.

Instagram user Curvily discovered perhaps the most New York City thing yet on Thursday night at the Atlantic Avenue D train station: a subway rat dragging a bagel on top of another floating bagel. That's right: city rats have started using food as real estate.

No word on why the bagels were floating around in the subway tracks, but clearly, when the city's food shortage arrives, the ratizens of Bagel Island will be fully stocked and ready to float through the hard times.
