THE BRONX — Police arrested an 11-year-old boy Friday and charged him with robbing a woman as she held her grandchild on a Bronx bus, according to the NYPD.
The 53-year-old woman was holding her grandson on the bus at the corner of Commonwealth and East Tremont avenues in Parkchester on Feb. 26 when the boy snatched her purse, which contained her iPhone 5 and ID, and dashed off the bus, police said.
The boy was arrested on Friday and charged with grand larceny.
