UPTOWN — Last call for Uptown artists.

The Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA), which has hosted the monthlong Uptown Arts Stroll since 2003, has extended its deadline for submissions for its annual poster contest

The contest asks residents of Washington Heights, Inwood and West Harlem to highlight the history of Upper Manhattan in their designs.

Entries will be judged by a panel drawn from the local arts community, according to the event website, with special consideration given to “eye-catching, original and unpublished images."

The winning entry will act as the featured design for promotional and marketing materials related to the 2016 event. The artist will also receive $500.

The original deadline of April 15 has been extended to Sunday, April 24.

Previous winners include graphic designers Edwin Ureña and Andrew Short, cartoonist Felipe Galindo and popular T-shirt designer, M. Tony Peralta.

All entries must be submitted to NoMAA by 11:59 p.m. on April 24. The winning artist will be notified the first week of June.

For more information, visit NoMAA's website.
