NOHO — Police have arrested a homeless man who they say slashed a snoozing Israeli tourist at the Bleecker Street subway station Friday morning.

Marvin Taylor, 24, slashed the 55-year-old tourist, who only speaks Yiddish, after the man nodded off on a bench at the 6 train stop about 3:30 a.m., police sources said.

Taylor, who was wearing an orange hoodie, woke the tourist up, demanded money and then slashed him across the face, hands and arms. He was arrested Sunday night by the department’s robbery squad, the NYPD said.

The lost victim had been poring over a map before he dozed off, police sources said.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

Taylor was charged with assault, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
