NEW YORK CITY — A man was fatally struck by a train at the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue station just before the Monday evening commute, officials said..
The man died after he jumped in front of a northbound 3 train at about 4 p.m. Monday, according to the NYPD. His age and identity were not immediately known.
Trains were not running on the 3 and 4 lines between the Franklin Avenue and New Lots Avenue stations for about an hour while the NYPD conducted an investigation, MTA officials said.

Trains resumed with minor delays by 5 p.m.
