NEW YORK CITY — A tractor-trailer hit scaffolding as it maneuvered the narrow streets near Fulton Market Monday, the FDNY said.

The 18-wheeler struck the scaffolding at the intersection of Gold and Ann streets around 2:10 p.m. without causing a scaffolding collapse or any injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.

"Oh my God, the block is too small, the truck is too large,” said Skylah Martin, who passed by the accident site.

The driver likely won’t be charged but could receive a ticket for driving in such a narrow street, according to police on the scene.

The truck was painted with Norias En Barite LLC, the name of a Texas-based shipping and trucking company. The company did not immediately return a request for comment.
