THE BRONX — A Department of Homeless Services worker was arrested Thursday and charged with tasering his 15-year-old daughter, an NYPD spokesman said.

Gilberto Romero, 39, tasered his daughter in their northeast Bronx home at about 11:45 p.m., according to police. She suffered minor injures and was expected to recover.

Romero was arrested and charged with assault and menacing, police said.

DHS declined to answer questions about Romero's employment.

“Due to a pending investigation, we are precluded from commenting on this matter," the agency said in a statement. "However, [we] are concerned by these troubling allegations.”
