► "EUPHORIA!" At Flushing Town Hall

When: Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Cynthia Vazquez, who received a grant from Flushing Town Hall, is premiering her play — in English and Spanish — about the decriminalization of drugs. Tickets are $5, and free for members and students.
► United Ink No Limits Tattoo Expo 2016
Where: Resorts World Casino, 110-00 Rockaway Blvd., South Ozone Park
When: Friday 2 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Saturday 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Sunday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Get tatted by some of the world's biggest tattoo artists, including Sarah Miller and Saint Marg from "Ink Masters," and Big Gus and Jasmine Rodriguez of "Tattoo Nightmares." The weekend-long event also features DJ sets from Tommy Lee and DJ Areo, DJ Skribble, DJ Gozzi and Kid 'n' Play, and more. Tickets are $25 a day or $55 for a weekend pass.

► "Paint Heads" Opening Reception
Where: Jeffrey Leder Gallery, 2137 45th Rd., Long Island City
When: 6 to 8 p.m.
Check out the opening reception for "Paint Heads," an exhibit featuring the works of nine artists who share a "fascination with the properties of paint." The show will take up two floors of the gallery and will be on view through May 1.

► Foam Top Frenzy Surf Contest
Where: Beach 90th Street, Rockaway Beach
When: 10 a.m.
Head to the beach and start summer early by watching this surf contest, featuring fun foam top boards and other "alternative surf crafts." The only rule is that surfers can't bring a real board into the ocean. Prizes will be awarded to the best alternative craft, best wave and best wipe-out. Bring a chair, a blanket and some snacks and enjoy the event, sponsored by Locals Surf School.
Sunday, April 3
Where: MoMA PS1, 22-25 Jackson Ave., Long Island City
When: 12 to 6 p.m.
See what the museum has in store this spring with the opening of Beijing artist Cao Fei's first solo museum show in the U.S., which will feature a conversation between the artist and MoMA PS1 director Klaus Biesenbach at 2 p.m. and a performance by the rap group The Notorious MSG at 4 p.m. Also opening is artist Rodney McMillian's "Landscape Paintings" and a sculptural installation by Georgian artist Thea Djordjadze.
► Pop-Up Vinyl Market at SingleCut Beersmiths
Where: SingleCut Beersmiths, 19-33 37th St., Astoria
When: 1 p.m.
Shop for albums while you sip a pint. Local music store HiFi Records will host a pop-up at the brewery until 5 p.m.

Bring the kids to check out all the scenery and explore nature in this wooded park, with guidance from New York City Park Rangers. The event is free.
